The Holly Bush Belbroughton changed ownership in Feb 2025, now owned by a local family.
Brothers Daren & Jamie MacDonald had long aspired to own a local pub.

With many historic pubs around the UK shutting their doors or changing use, the MacDonald brothers were determined to preserve a piece
of local heritage by purchasing this much loved pub and saving it from closure. 

Since taking over, they have lovingly refurbished the pub, carefully blending updates with the original character and charm that long-time visitors will recognise and appreciate.

Today, The Holly Bush is once again a warm and welcoming hub for the community—whether you’re after a quiet pint, a hearty meal, or simply good conversation.

Our menu is intentionally small, focusing on quality over quantity, and changes with the seasons. We work with local suppliers to bring you fresh produce, and our kitchen serves up classic British favourites alongside hearty Black Country dishes that celebrate the region’s culinary roots.

We’re proud to keep this village gem alive and thriving, and we look forward to welcoming you—whether you’re a first-time visitor or an old friend.
